A timekeeping variance of up to 30 seconds per day is considered standard for a vintage watch. Vintage watches are not COSC-certified, which is the modern chronometer standard of approximately 2–3 seconds per day.
We offer a complimentary warranty covering mechanical issues. This warranty does not cover cosmetic issues or damage arising after purchase.
We ship via FedEx, USPS, UPS, and DHL, depending on the item's value and your location. All domestic shipments are fully insured.

All orders will be shipped the following business day after payment has cleared and been approved by our fraud detection team.
We strive to describe and photograph each watch as accurately as possible, and encourage customers to carefully review all photos and descriptions before purchasing. Upon delivery, you have 48 hours to verify that the watch matches its description. Please note that this is not a trial period; all of our timepieces are thoroughly documented prior to shipment. Any reduction in value resulting from wear, damage, or alteration will be deducted from the refund amount, and all approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Timekeeping Accuracy: Every watch is guaranteed to be keeping accurate time upon shipping. Please note that vintage watches, typically 20+ years old, may naturally deviate by a few seconds daily, which is standard for such timeless pieces.
Warranty Coverage: Danny’s Vintage Watches offers a comprehensive one-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering any malfunctions in timekeeping within a tolerance of +/- 1 minute per day. Should your watch require adjustment, please contact us for complimentary servicing by our esteemed watchmakers. Note that damages caused by external factors, including water exposure and physical wear (e.g., scratches), are not covered under our warranty.
We advise against submerging vintage watches in water. Water resistance levels from the manufacturing period may no longer apply, and therefore, water damage is explicitly excluded from our warranty coverage.

Daniel Matatov's journey into the world of horology began in the heart of Manhattan's Diamond District, a place where the hustle and bustle of commerce and the glimmer of jewels could easily dazzle a young mind. But for Daniel, it wasn't just the allure of diamonds that caught his eye—it was the intricate, ticking treasures that adorned the wrists of those who passed through the district.
At just 15 years old, Daniel found himself mesmerized by the world of watches. It wasn't long before his curiosity turned into a full-blown passion. But the true catalyst for his deep-seated love of vintage timepieces was a seemingly insignificant gold-plated Croton watch he discovered in his grandfather's garage. This watch, overlooked by many, held a special place in Daniel’s heart. It was more than just a timepiece; it was a connection to his roots, to the stories and memories of his grandfather.
The Croton wasn’t just a watch—it was the spark that ignited Daniel’s journey. He was so captivated by it that he even made it the subject of a public speaking class in college. His classmates, puzzled by his poetic devotion to this old, worn watch, couldn't understand why he spoke of it as if his life depended on it. But that’s what passion looks like—an unshakable love for something that others might dismiss as ordinary.
Daniel’s appreciation for all things vintage—watches, art, homes—was deeply influenced by his grandfather, a man who valued the stories behind the objects. This appreciation became the foundation upon which Daniel built Danny’s Vintage Watches. He recognized that the world of vintage watches could be intimidating, especially for those who were new to it. The watches were fragile, often faked, and the gray market sellers could be daunting. But Daniel saw this challenge as an opportunity. He wanted to demystify the process, to make it accessible for everyone to experience the magic of vintage timepieces without the pretension or the pitfalls.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the surge in the pre-owned watch market pushed Daniel to turn his passion into a full-time pursuit. What started as a fascination became a profession, and Danny’s Vintage Watches was born. Since then, Danny’s Vintage Watches has sold thousands of watches to consumers around the world, with a unique ethos: making time travel possible.
Every watch sold by Danny’s Vintage Watches carries with it a story, a piece of history, and a connection to the past. Just like the Croton watch that started it all, these timepieces are more than just objects; they are vessels of memories, waiting to be cherished by their next owners. Daniel’s journey from a young boy in Manhattan’s Diamond District to the founder of a successful vintage watch business is a testament to the power of passion, persistence, and the stories that bind us to the things we love.
