This dial changes the entire watch
Tiger Eye dials do not blend in. They stop an onlooker immediately. The layered stone pattern shifts between gold, brown, and deep amber depending on the light, giving the watch movement even when it is sitting still. On a full yellow gold Datejust, the effect is cohesive rather than loud. Everything stays in the same warm register, which is why this configuration works as well as it does. Another important consideration to add to rarity is that the original papers are included with the piece.
Why this configuration matters
Stone dials were never standard Rolex production. They were special executions, produced in small numbers and never easy to replace. Tiger Eye is one of the most recognizable of them, but also one of the most fragile. Cracks, delamination, or surface damage are common. Finding one that is clean and intact is not.
This dial is perfect. No fractures, no lifting, no issues. That alone puts the watch in a smaller category. Paired with a full 18k yellow gold case and matching Jubilee bracelet, it becomes the version collectors actually want. Minimal bracelet sag is increasingly rare on gold Datejusts from this era, and this one remains tight and correct.
What you need to know before wearing it
Condition is very good overall. The Tiger Eye dial is flawless. The bracelet shows little to no stretch and matches correctly. The case shows light tarnishing consistent with age, which should be expected on yellow gold and does not detract from wearability. The watch is running well with strong amplitude and low beat error. Papers are present.

Absolutely unreal experience. Found them from Facebook. Figured I’d browse the site. Fell in love with a patek, texted them, and they (specifically David) were so amazing and easy to chat with about options and inventory, process etc. Came in to pick up the watch - man, as you probably know - you cannot understate how great their selection is. That’s really one of the best parts as well. The service is great; they treat their clients great, prices are very good - but the curation is another huge stand out part. Anyway - these fellas were so great when we came in, that my wife was determined that we buy a watch for her, - you know just to help the business. Not for her, she insists, but because of how great the guys at the shop were. And I agreed so I obliged. :P It’s honestly a 10/10 shop.
