Aqua Star Chronograph — "Hudson"
The Story
Here's a vintage Aqua Star “Hudson” Chronograph manual wind with a lot of color from the 70s. Caliber Valjoux 7734. Keeps great time and is fully functional. Measurements include a 38mm case size and 20mm lug width. On a grey suede leather strap with matching orange stitching. Orange hour markers and instrumentation, orange chronograph second hand. Blue hands and green sub dials. Dark matte grey dial. Steel rotating bezel. Brushed finishing on the case. Stainless steel case and caseback. There is a great use of bright color which was common in the 70s, but we don’t often see these like this. The dial and crystal are rather clean from any scratches or marks. Drilled lug holes. All parts are original including the signed crown, dial, movement, and caseback. Both the dial and case are in great cosmetic, untouched condition.

Absolutely unreal experience. Found them from Facebook. Figured I’d browse the site. Fell in love with a patek, texted them, and they (specifically David) were so amazing and easy to chat with about options and inventory, process etc. Came in to pick up the watch - man, as you probably know - you cannot understate how great their selection is. That’s really one of the best parts as well. The service is great; they treat their clients great, prices are very good - but the curation is another huge stand out part. Anyway - these fellas were so great when we came in, that my wife was determined that we buy a watch for her, - you know just to help the business. Not for her, she insists, but because of how great the guys at the shop were. And I agreed so I obliged. :P It’s honestly a 10/10 shop. As we speak they are reworking both our watches to fit our bracelet and I’ll add photos when I pick up the watches. Heck, 11/10. They’re that good. Go there, you will not regret it! But it might be very hard not to leave with something
