The Story

Here's a Breguet Reference 3290 from the late 90s, early 2000s. Keeps great time and is fully functional. Measurements include a 33mm case size and 18mm lug width. On a black leather strap with the original gold buckle. Time only 18K yellow gold case. Blue pontife hands, black roman numerals, and guilloche dial. There is a lot of texture in the silver dial. Sub seconds at 6 a clock. Drilled lug holes. Coin finish on both sides of the case. Makes for a great dress for both men and women. \"Bregeut 482\" at 12 a clock. Both the dial and crystal are free from any scratches or marks. All parts are original including the crown, dial, movement, and caseback. Both the dial and case are in great cosmetic, untouched condition.

History

Abraham-Louis Breguet founded his workshop in Paris in 1775 and proceeded to invent or refine more essential watchmaking concepts than any other single person in the history of the craft: the tourbillon, the self-winding Perpétuelle pocket watch, the Breguet overcoil, and the Breguet numeral typeface still used on dials today. The Marine collection is inspired by Breguet's historical work creating chronometers for the French Navy. The Classique is the formal dress collection. Our examples represent one of horology's most important names at accessible price points.
