A Manually-Wound Calendar Movement
At the heart of this watch is a complete calendar complication, displaying the day, date, month, and phase of the moon. Unlike simpler versions, this is a manually-wound movement, requiring daily interaction to power its complex set of displays. The decision to render the dial in a plain, unadorned cream color keeps the focus entirely on the information and the unique typography of the numerals. Encasing this complex caliber in the three-dimensionally curved Cintrée Curvex body was a significant manufacturing challenge, and a statement of the brand's capabilities.
Unpolished Case, Perfect Dial
The 18K white gold case is unpolished and shows scratches from prior wear. Both the crystal and the cream dial are in perfect condition, with crisp printing and no visible flaws. This example, which retains its original leather strap and buckle, presents in Very Good Condition. As with every watch we offer, this piece has been verified as mechanically sound and is ready to wear.
The Independent Alternative
Where the traditional Swiss houses expressed their calendar complications in classical round cases, Franck Muller chose a different path. This Master Calendar delivers the same horological substance, but in a form that's more expressive and distinct. Absolutely unreal experience. Found them from Facebook. Figured I’d browse the site. Fell in love with a patek, texted them, and they (specifically David) were so amazing and easy to chat with about options and inventory, process etc. Came in to pick up the watch - man, as you probably know - you cannot understate how great their selection is. That’s really one of the best parts as well. The service is great; they treat their clients great, prices are very good - but the curation is another huge stand out part. Anyway - these fellas were so great when we came in, that my wife was determined that we buy a watch for her, - you know just to help the business. Not for her, she insists, but because of how great the guys at the shop were. And I agreed so I obliged. :P It’s honestly a 10/10 shop.
