Before the Big Bang, there was the MDM. This collection represents the original vision of founder Carlo Crocco, who introduced the radical concept of pairing a luxury case with a natural rubber strap in 1980. It was a move that challenged the conventions of Swiss watchmaking. This MDM Diver from the 1990s is a direct descendant of that philosophy, applying the "Art of Fusion" to a functional tool watch with 300 meters of water resistance. It is Hublot in its purest, most essential form.
A Clean Expression Of 90s Design
This example stands out for its clean, purposeful aesthetic. The 36mm steel case hits a sweet spot for modern wearability, offering a comfortable presence without the aggressive dimensions of later models. Its design is focused and legible, with a simple black dial featuring dot indices, bold luminous hands, and a quickset date at three o'clock. Untouched And Entirely Original
The watch is in great cosmetic condition. The steel case and dial are both well-preserved and appear untouched, retaining their original finishes. All components, including the signed crown, dial, and movement, are original to the watch. The Hublot rubber strap remains in excellent shape. As with every watch we offer, this piece has been verified as mechanically sound and is ready to wear.

This was my first real luxury watch purchase, a Rolex 15200 Date 34mm, I own Tissots and a Laco, but those are entry level luxury watches. I found Danny’s Vintage Watches online, and had great feedback both on Google, Chrono24 and the Reddit watch community. So decided to give him a shot as buying online can be a crap shoot. Ordered Monday night, was at my doorstep Friday morning. Despite the watch being over 30 years old, serial number says it’s from 91, the watch looked new. Didn’t come with box or papers, and was shipped in a plastic sleeve wrapped in bubble wrap. Danny was always available to answer questions. I’ll be buying from Danny again for the next purchase…saw a couple of Speedmasters on his site I liked….
