1995 Rolex Datejust 16233 - White Roman Dial

This Rolex Datejust from the 1990s leans into a more traditional, dress-forward expression of the model. The white Roman numeral dial immediately sets the tone, giving the watch a composed feel that contrasts nicely with the warmth of the yellow gold fluted bezel and center links.
Why this configuration works
White Roman dials bring a different character to the Datejust. The applied Roman numerals and black hands create strong contrast and structure, while the tritium in both the hands and hour markers remains intact, keeping the dial cohesive and period-correct. Paired with the fluted gold bezel, the watch feels formal without becoming overstated.

Condition, clearly stated
Condition is overall strong and honestly presented. The dial and crystal are clean and free from marks, the bezel and center links retain their rich yellow tone, and the case presents well. The bracelet shows noticeable stretch, consistent with age, and remains wearable. The caseback shows unusual stippling and wear that should be noted.
Mechanically, the watch is performing well, running incredibly well with healthy amplitude after passing through our test bench. All components including dial, crown, movement, case, and caseback are original.

This was my first real luxury watch purchase, a Rolex 15200 Date 34mm, I own Tissots and a Laco, but those are entry level luxury watches. I found Danny’s Vintage Watches online, and had great feedback both on Google, Chrono24 and the Reddit watch community. So decided to give him a shot as buying online can be a crap shoot. Ordered Monday night, was at my doorstep Friday morning. Despite the watch being over 30 years old, serial number says it’s from 91, the watch looked new. Didn’t come with box or papers, and was shipped in a plastic sleeve wrapped in bubble wrap. Danny was always available to answer questions. I’ll be buying from Danny again for the next purchase…saw a couple of Speedmasters on his site I liked….
Can't recommend Danny's vintage watches enough!!! My first Omega ever and im in love have been wearing every day since I purchased it. Danny's shop is a must visit if you are in NYC looking for a watch!!!
