This is an extremely uncommon vintage Vacheron Constantin Ref. 7391, crafted in the 1970s from solid 18k white gold. Measuring 31mm in its elegant cushion case, the watch is paired with its original woven 18k white gold integrated bracelet, a hallmark of Vacheron’s unmatched craftsmanship during this era.
Case, Dial & Bracelet
The cushion-shaped case houses an exquisite natural opal stone dial, shimmering with vibrant fire and depth that shifts beautifully in the light. While the dial shows slight cracks near the corners, they do little to detract from its beauty, and an original Vacheron malachite dial is also included. Such stone dials are seldom seen in vintage watches, and combined with the intricate truly woven bracelet, the result is breathtaking. The bracelet is original, fully intact, and can be professionally adjusted for fit.
Rarity, Condition & Collectability
Few integrated gold bracelet watches from the 1970s–1980s rival the refinement of Vacheron’s design. The rare opal dial paired with the woven bracelet makes this reference a collector’s dream. Absolutely unreal experience. Found them from Facebook. Figured I’d browse the site. Fell in love with a patek, texted them, and they (specifically David) were so amazing and easy to chat with about options and inventory, process etc. Came in to pick up the watch - man, as you probably know - you cannot understate how great their selection is. That’s really one of the best parts as well. The service is great; they treat their clients great, prices are very good - but the curation is another huge stand out part. Anyway - these fellas were so great when we came in, that my wife was determined that we buy a watch for her, - you know just to help the business. Not for her, she insists, but because of how great the guys at the shop were. And I agreed so I obliged. :P It’s honestly a 10/10 shop. As we speak they are reworking both our watches to fit our bracelet and I’ll add photos when I pick up the watches. Heck, 11/10. They’re that good. Go there, you will not regret it!
