Vacheron Constantin - Stardust Dial

Details

We’re proud to offer this rare and exceptionally refined Vacheron Constantin “Mini Cobra” in 18k white gold—a masterpiece of 1970s design that blends ultra-thin engineering with bold, sculptural aesthetics.

What makes this watch truly special is its incredibly slim profile—a technical marvel of its time—that allows it to sit effortlessly on the wrist while still making a confident style statement. The case flows seamlessly into an intricately woven integrated bracelet, creating a fluid, almost jewelry-like presence that’s unmistakably vintage Vacheron.

When you think of a Cobra, the first thing that pops into mind is the iconic 5403 made by Audemars Piguet in the 1970s. Unlike its counterpart from the same era that featured a larger and thicker case, this Vacheron has an extremely thin case, which gives it a more under-the-cuff and definitely under-the-radar look compared to the 5403, which is definitely a bold statement with its automatic movement. This Vacheron houses a thin and persice manually wound movement.

The dial is equally captivating: a rare silver “stardust” texture that catches the light with a soft shimmer, accented by sleek black hands and hour markers for a clean, minimalist contrast. This textured dial gives the watch a quiet sophistication that’s both era-defining and timeless.

Produced in very limited numbers during the 1970s, the Mini Cobra is a rare find, especially in white gold, and a perfect example of Vacheron Constantin’s design excellence during one of its most creative periods. For collectors and design lovers alike, this piece represents the intersection of innovation, elegance, and rarity.

History

Founded in 1755 in Geneva, Vacheron Constantin claims to be the oldest continuously operating watch manufacture in the world. The company has never stopped producing watches, through wars, economic crises, and the quartz revolution — a record that very few houses can match. Part of the Richemont group since 1996, the brand produces some of the finest dress watches made in Geneva. Our inventory includes integrated dress pieces and the Historiques platinum dress watch, representing Vacheron's long tradition of refined case design and high-quality hand-finished movements.
