Zodiac Seawolf — Blue Dial
The Story
Here's a vintage Zodiac sea wolf automatic with a rare matte blue dial from the late 50s, early 60s. Keeps great time and is fully functional. Measurements include a 35mm case size and 18mm lug width. It's on a grey pebble-textured leather strap (made in Italy). Time and non-quick date function at 3 a clock. Matte blue dial. Shovel hands and hour markers. The lume in both the hands and hour markers developed a puffy patina. There's a \"Swiss < 25\" mark at the 6 a clock position. Steel bi-directional rotating bezel. This blue dial is quite rare to find in these cases. The dial and bezel are in great condition for its age. All parts are original including the signed crown, dial, movement, and caseback. Absolutely unreal experience. Found them from Facebook. Figured I’d browse the site. Fell in love with a patek, texted them, and they (specifically David) were so amazing and easy to chat with about options and inventory, process etc. Came in to pick up the watch - man, as you probably know - you cannot understate how great their selection is. That’s really one of the best parts as well. The service is great; they treat their clients great, prices are very good - but the curation is another huge stand out part. Anyway - these fellas were so great when we came in, that my wife was determined that we buy a watch for her, - you know just to help the business. Not for her, she insists, but because of how great the guys at the shop were. And I agreed so I obliged. :P It’s honestly a 10/10 shop. As we speak they are reworking both our watches to fit our bracelet and I’ll add photos when I pick up the watches. Heck, 11/10. They’re that good. Go there, you will not regret it! But it might be very hard not to leave with something
